Baidu Plan to Establish High Capacity and Density computing Green Data Center

According to China informed sources,Baidu plan to build high capacity and high density computing green data center for meeting the evolving business needs,improving the user search experience,reducing carbon emissions that made by searching technology, reducing energy consumption, protecting the environment.

In recent years,Baidu implemented a series of green initiatives to create a low-carbon environment,to build green data center is a very important part of them.Since 2008,Baidu has been adopted lower-power storage solutions to improve server power utilization.

At that time,Baidu realized the flash memory device on the web search services massive cluster server.It was the world's first Internet companies to farewell to the hard disk.
Furthermore, Baidu has used much virtualization technology to enhance the computing, storage resources, maximize utilization.

Among them, the introduction of virtualization technology can reduce power consumption by half.The promotion of the nodes management technology in the server cluster and other means to substantially reduce the air conditioning cooling, the computing power consumption.
