Digital China Signs Distribution Agreement with Riverbed

Digital China to Offer Riverbed’s Leading WAN Optimization Solutions in Combination with its Expertise in IT Service and Extensive Experiences in China

BEIJING – April 27, 2010 – Riverbed Technology, the IT performance company, today announced that it has extended the reach of its award-winning WAN optimization solutions by appointing Digital China (Stock Code: 00861. HK) as a distributor in China. Through this agreement, Digital China, a leading IT services provider in China, will distribute Riverbed® IT performance solutions in the country.

Riverbed WAN (wide area network) optimization solutions help to improve remote and mobile employee productivity, enable private clouds, and provide enterprise-wide network and application visibility, while eliminating the need to increase bandwidth, storage or servers. By speeding the performance of applications between remote offices, private data centers and mobile workers, in some cases by up to 100 times, Riverbed WAN optimization solutions enable companies to consolidate IT, improve backup and replication processes to ensure data integrity, and improve staff productivity and collaboration.

The Central Management Console (CMC) and Interceptor® appliance, helping to manage and scale Steelhead appliance deployments; and
Cascade™ appliances, which are used for advanced network and application performance analysis and reporting.
